Ari Weinzweig is the Co-Founding Partner of Zingerman's community of businesses in Ann Arbor, Michigan, which includes Zingerman's Bakehouse, Zingerman's Creamery, Zingerman's Creamery, Zingerman's Mail Order, ZingTrain, Zingerman's Coffee Comapny, and Zingerman's Roadhouse. Ari has also served as a board member and president of The American Cheese Society and as a board member of the Retail Division of the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade. In 2006 he was inducted into the James Beard Who's Who of Food and Beverage in America. He is the author of Zingerman's Guide to Good Eating, Zingerman's Guide to Giving Great Service, and Zingerman's Guide to Good Parmigiano-Reggiano.
Terese Allen writes about the pleasures and benefits of regional foods, sustainable cooking and culinary folklore. She is author of several books about Wisconsin's "edible heritage," including Wisconsin's Hometown Flavors, as well as a food columnist for Madison's Isthmus newspaper and past president of the Culinary History Enthusiasts of Wisconsin (CHEW). A former chef, she is also the food editor for Organic Valley, the nation's largest organic farmers cooperative.
Greg Christian is the owner of three Chicago-based food companies: Greg Christian Catering and Events, Get Me Gregs, and Go Go Organics, and for each, he seeks out the finest natural ingredients from local farmers. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and founded the Organic School Project in collaboration with the Chicago Public Schools, public and private area gardens and organic gardens, farms, food retailers and suppliers, cooking professionals and health care professionals.
